If not, no one would be interested in them even if it has a long history. As the mindset of the people changes with time, one should not stick to the traditions when promoting the same product. I learnt that in order to preserve traditions, innovation is needed. Wonder why Wen Ding only has one son even though he always preaches people on the importance of continuing the family line. Shuangxi, on the other hand, has the talent in baking but is lazy and only comes up with “good” ideas to increase the number of customers in the shop. Daxi is a good writer but cannot fulfill his dream as he is the eldest son and naturally has to run the family business. Mei Ren opens a cake shop and is a straightforward and sincere person who thinks well for the customers and serve the customers up to their satisfaction. At the same time, he meets Mei Ren who looks like Xiao Mei who he will fall in love with despite their contrasting views. Hence, he uses other identities to continue living in their house and helping them with business. He has nowhere to go so he looks for Xiji which is run by Daxi and Shuangxi but no one believes he is their grandfather. Wen Ding tries to save her and ends up time-travelling to 2014. Before the day of marriage, Xiao Mei committed suicide after she lost her mother. Due to tradition, he has to obey his parents’ wishes and give up on his love for Xiao Mei or take her in as mistress. The series escalated local drama productions to a new level. "IRIS" scored a big success with its star-studded cast of Lee Byung-hun and Kim Tae-hee and explosive action scenes. The highly anticipated drama will feature some of Korea's top stars and another thrilling tale of terrorism, spies and secret agents, equivalent to the original but with a new spin. The new series will begin filming in June, in six countries such as Italy, Switzerland, Singapore, and New Zealand, after the casting of another female protagonist soon. Soo Ae will begin shooting right after finishing her current film, " Midnight FM". The actress is expected to transform her trademark pure and graceful image to play a cold-blooded spy who will perform intense action scenes in the drama. Jeong will take the role of a special agent, while Cha will play a leader of a terrorist group. Jung Woo-sung and Cha Seung-won continue as part of the cast. She will play a Double Agent - both a profiler for the National Anti-Terror Service (NTS) and a special spy for a secret organization.
Actress Soo Ae has been cast as a heroine in the upcoming "ATHENA", a spinoff of last year's blockbuster television series "IRIS", according to Taewon Entertainment.
